SUMMARY
The
Director
of
Solution
Services
&
Product
Development
is
a
senior
level
position.
This
will
require
the
appropriate
candidate
to
manage
time
and
resources
between
two
distinct
yet
complementary
activities.
As
the
Director
of
Solution
Services
the
candidate
will
assist
the
Sales
Managers
during
the
sales
cycle
in
the
coordination
of
responding
to
client’s
request
for
training
services.
The
Candidate
would
coordinate
with
both
the
Sales
Managers
and
decision-makers
at
the
client’s
decision
making
levels.
Primary
responsibilities
include
developing
training
solutions
to
address
customer’s
end
user
training
requirements.
As
Director
of
Product
Development
the
candidate
will
be
instrumental
in
the
design
and
creation
of
additional
products
and
services
that
complement
TransAmerica
Training
Management’s
existing
portfolio
of
Oracle
Certified
training
products
and
User
Adoption
Services
(UAS)
solutions.
The
primary
responsibility
includes
providing
or
creating
cost
effective
learning
solutions
that
are
easy
to
deploy
and
are
cost
effective
to
create.
The
successful
candidate
will
need
to
direct
marketing
content
and
activities
to
promote
solution
sales
and
new
product
offerings.
The
candidate’s
ability
to
multi-task
and
complete
projects
by
deadline
is
a
must
to
accomplish
personal
and
corporate
goals.
Required
Qualifications
•
7-10
years
experience
in
designing,
developing,
and
delivering
end
user
training
materials
in
support
of
business
transformation
initiatives
and
enterprise
resource
planning
(ERP)
solutions
•
Well-versed
in
application
of
ADDIE-based
instructional
design
strategies
and
practices
related
to
training
and
audience
analysis,
concept
and
task
analysis,
content
outlining
and
storyboarding,
development
of
web-based
and
instructor-led
training
components,
creation
of
performance
support,
and
development
of
learner
practice
and
assessments
•
5-7
years
project
management
experience
leading
instructional
design.
Well-versed
in
managing
projects
and
creating
and
maintaining
detailed
training
plans
and
schedules
on
large
scale,
multi-year
projects
•
Be
instrumental
in
the
responding
to
user
adoption
services
RFP’s.
•
Ensure
quality
and
profitability
of
UAS
projects
•
Interface
with
UAS
project
managers
to
provide
project
oversight
•
Conduct
customer
training
needs
assessments
as
required.
•
Demonstrated
communication
skills
(written,
oral,
and
interpersonal)
in
a
collaborative
environment
•
Strong
background
in
planning
and
scheduling
for
large
scale,
multi-year
projects
•
Proficient
with
Microsoft
Office
applications
(Word,
Excel,
PowerPoint,
Visio,
Project)
•
Prior
experience
with
training
development
accelerators
like
Oracle's
User
Productivity
Kit
(UPK)
or
other
industry
known
authoring
tools
used
to
develop
training
and
performance
support
materials
•
Prior
experience
developing
Web-based
learning
programs
using
Flash,
Dreamweaver,
Captivate
or
similar
tools
•
Ability
to
prioritize
tasks
to
meet
established
deadlines
•
Strong
organizational
and
problem
solving
skills
•
Bachelor's
degree
in
instructional
systems
design
or
related
field
plus
5-7
years
experience
developing
end
user
training
materials
in
support
of
enterprise
applications.
10+
years
of
relevant
experience
may
be
substituted
for
a
degree.
•
Entrepreneurial
and
able
to
work
with
minimal
ramp
up
time
to
generate
product
interest
at
multiple
levels
within
client’s
organization.

software

professional
services
experience
selling

creating
complex
software/services
solutions;
Big
4
and/or
Large
System
Integrator
sales
experience
a
plus.
•
Proven
consultative
selling
skills
with
the
ability
to
simultaneously
manage
multiple
sales
campaigns
and
complex
sales
campaigns.
•
Proven
ability
of
identifying,
evaluating,
qualifying
and
closing
sales
opportunities
